French Onion Soup , My Way

My Way French Onion Soup
Onions are like boobs. No two onions are ever the same size.. neither are two boobs.
I don't care what you say, you can say Im a lying fool, I firmly hold my ground on this point. Why do you think they invented the Oprah bras.. to hide this charming imperfection and it is indeed charming, boobs are a beautiful thing, all shapes sizes and weights..
One boob is either SLIGHTLY more round, more narrow, more wide, or more firm. Seriously. Ask your husband or sig other the question am I a bit lopsided honey??? and tell him or her you expect the truth. If he says no, theyre the same size, take off your shirt and bra, cup your boobs, one in each hand and tell him OK.. now feel and tell me. (If you want to make a play date out of it, wear only your ruby red panties and heels while doing this or do it directly in or out of the shower). Have him cup each one,
spread fingers to determine girth , have him squeeze each one, weigh each one, circle each one, tell him do it both ways .. with your arms up in the air
and at your sides, better yet, tell him to place each one in his mouth and see how far his cheeks puff out.. etc..Yes, he'll have to admit there is a variation in the boobness that is us women.

Do you ever wonder why one of our assets is slightly more morphed than the other? Well, I have my theory .. I think the boob that gets the more action, is the boob that is slightly bigger,... same reasoning goes for houseplants.. the one you water and talk to more (um not that I talk to my plants), gets bigger than the others..

Think about my theory. Think about the side of the bed your partner sleeps on.. if he is on the right side of the bed, he uses his right hand more and probably more on the left boob. Therefore left boob slightly bigger.. My Einstein like qualities amaze me all the time.. Honestly you'd think men would know we prefer action on both boobs at the same time all the time,

but they seem to like to pay attention to only one at a time, most times.. why is that?? Comment on that any of my men reader cyberfriends? We as women want to know. Really it doesnt take a genious to figure that out.. both boobs going at the same time and youve got it made, in agreement fellow women? Geez, you wanna go a step further, get both boobs going and have dessert on us at the same time, and in Heaven we'll be...And no I haven't just had 4 back to back dirty martinis,

Im just telling it like it is cus Im 40 and I can.. Lets hear it for the dual boob move, oh yes..the dual boob move..Hooray for the dual boob action!! Hey if we can double ball in mouth,

you can double boob in mouth, or at the very least the 2 special boob areas..

So ladies, do me a favor have your partners cup you , and let me know your findings. Then just for shIts and giggles, cup his balls back and see which one is bigger. Cus you know what , one is. Even when standing at attention, one is the Captain. Now go play and get one(or more) off for me.. Now on to my french onion soup..

French Onion Soup , My Way

Get some LARGE onions,

I usually use Spanish ones. Cut them in half and slice them.
In a large 8 quart pot, melt butter with oil.
Add your onions and cook till translucent.
Add your sugar and cook for 1 hour or until slightly caramelized. Add the flour and cook 1 minute. Do the chicken dance with your children or pets while having a glass of champagne.. it can be done.. and its fun.. Add your broth, water, salt and pepper. Cook 30 minutes. Stir in your wines,
MMMM, love the wines, have a glass of each while you are at it, and Simmer for 2 hours.. Now when ready to serve preheat broiler.. To serve, ladle soup into your soup crock ..
Slice up some french bread,
and top with some,
Place some swiss cheese on top..
for me the breadier the cheesier, the more orgasms the better.. justlivin life people, livin life.. place in your broiler,
until cheese is melted and bubbly.OH Look,
yes, look again,
OK once more,
one more honey just one promise, oh sorry my mind went elsewhere..
It is deliciousIMVHO..Freezes well also!

This is the second time in a week that you've read my mind, I was just thinking I need an onion soup recipe because I've ended up with 3 bags of onions by not checking my cupboards before shopping, so I definately will be making this...oh and the White Castle Burgers were so delicious! The group I made them for loved them too! And I got a 'honey, these can be made again' approval from my hubby. Cheers!

    ReplyDelete
  33. You read my mind. I've been thinking of French Onion Soup (and better boobs). I usually make mine--soup, that is--with grueyere. Either way...yummo.

The boob thing has been a big issue with my one daughter (16yo)who has markedly uneven boobs. I keep telling her it will even out. I sure hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow! A lot of thought goes into your recipes! I hadn't even considered all of this, but then, my husband hates onions so I always have to use onion powder. I wonder what all of this means for my sex life?! :0)

Thanks for popping over to my blog today!

You are right, there are no two boobs alike. You've got a great sense of humor

  51. I'm not a fan of onions, but I love french onion soup- I think because it's gooey!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Asymmetry in breasts isn't a problem in my life- accessability is... :)
Guys "twins" hang at a different height for a good reason- if they were the same height, we would be in a lot of pain most of the day...

    ReplyDelete
  53. i love doggybloggy's theory that the left boob is bigger because it's over the heart! one of mine is way bigger than the other - i've known it for a while! and i think it is the left! (i would check, but i'm at work right now and that might seem a tad odd) It's usually well hidden but when i wear low v necks, i give myself away because the V always tends to veer off in the direction of the bigger one :) oh well. Funny stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I love French onion soup.

I use cognac instead of wine. Very, very nice.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh how I love French onion soup. Now I am going to have to make it. And I agree, the breadier and cheesier the better.
I am not sure why one boob is bigger, but I am just glad they don't move around like testicles do - creepy!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I love French Onion Soup and yours looks fabulous. I love the oozy cheese on top.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I haven't had this in so long, too long! It looks divine with all that oozing cheese, so delicious!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ahhh Donna - you make me hungry for everything. French Onion Boob Soup. Works for me.

    ReplyDelete
  59. "...they [men] seem to like to pay attention to only one at a time, most times.. why is that??"

The answer is simple, men aren't good at multitasking. Try as we might, one or the other will get more attention.

I can't play the piano either.

    ReplyDelete
  60. So...What size onions? B cup? or C cup?

    ReplyDelete
  61. You are too funny! Amazing soup.. I like that you used port.. that is a nice change!

    ReplyDelete
  62. After the weekend I had at work I absolutely needed to come here and let you make me laugh!! You are absolutely outrageous and I love it!! The soup looks fantastic!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I can't believe that I have never made French onion soup. Yes, I am deprived and depraved. And Donna, I only have "A cup sized" onions, so that might be a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I agree with your onion/boob analogy, I love this soup but I have never made it before. Your version sounds great, I will have to give it a try!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I love coming to your site for a good giggle. Oh, and the soup looks good too :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. ::::peeking down my shirt:::: Hmmm.... guess you're right. Soup looks really good. Love the cheese!

    ReplyDelete
  67. LOL - you crack me up, I completely agree! I love all the cheese on top of your French onion soup - yum!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I love French onion soup - the more onions the better. Yours looks fantastic.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I think I would like to just eat the cheesy bread off the top-that hooked my in the picture.

Even after having surgery, one of mine is still bigger-WTF? Didn't I pay you to make them small, pert and PERFECT???? I always thought it was bigger on the side of what handed you were-it would be getting more of a workout, and building bulk.......or not

    ReplyDelete
  70. hahahahahahahah! oh my goodness! i almost feel SCANDALIZED just by reading your blog! i'll never be able to look at onions the same way again.

do you mind if i add you to my blogroll? you ARE way too einstein-like for me not to read everyday :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Goodmorning. I know it is very early, but I was reading and reading and reading about boobs and totally forgot that this post had initially started out about soup! lol Was almost a shock when you went back to it!
(And sorry, can't go back and test your theory right now, gotta go!)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Love love love French Onion soup!!! We had it on our trip after not having it for a long time and I was just thinking about making it at home! Thanks for a great recipe!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Y'know ... this isn't a bad experiment ... the boob one that is. Because my hubbs is still under the impression that mine are both exactly the same. Hmmm, maybe I'll let him think that for a couple more years! I always like ordering onion soup at french restaurants, probably because I haven't yet justified buying oven-proof bowls just for them. Still, yours is such a simple & wonderful recipe .. there's some really YUMMMMMM shots in there!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Right handed, left side of the bed, equal time!
But not at the same time ;). Great recipe!

    ReplyDelete
  75. This is my favorite I can taste all the onions and the cheese. You are right that all boobs are different.

    ReplyDelete
  76. The more I come to read your posts, the more I like your humor, hospitality and dishes. Your character is one that I want around my house, "what you hear and see is what you get"!!! you have this sense of "giddy" and some really kick a.. dishes! Now, With your delectable french onion soup, I am sure "french kisses" were in abundance that night!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. oh, donna, you perv! hahahahaha! you never fail to crack me up. I just love love love you and your lovely humor.
and that french onion soup....orgasmic. mmmm!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Thanks for your comment Donna. Just stopped by to give some blog love!

    ReplyDelete
  79. So it's kind of like a bread bowl in reverse! That cheese crust does look orgasmic.

And I think the problem with men only paying attention to one boob at a time has to do with their inability to multi-task (sorry guys). They would inevitably short change both, so its probably better that they just focus and give it their all.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Yes, my boobs are uneven also, but a little less so now that I had a weird growth removed. Dermatologist called it an "insect bite," but it was huge, he made quite a cut. Now they're closer in size. So girls, get your boobs checked to be sure there's nothing growing inside to make one bigger.
As for the French Onion soup, how can you go wrong, it's definitely a fave of men and gals alike.

    ReplyDelete
  81. A little talk about boobs, a little talk about onions. And why not! They're all round. :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. What a lovely looking soup. Can't wait to try it YOUR way.

And yes - I agree - all boobs are uneven. It's so annoying!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hi Donna!

I made your French onion soup last week. It was fan-bloody-tastic! I'm eating leftovers as we speak, and it's even better.

It's rich with great depth of flavor. Very, very satisfying. I'll put it on my blog soon.

Thanks for such a great recipe!

    <3, Carole
