First, I need a FAVOR.. down on my knees, ..now dont get go getting all excited, although I am starting to. My knees dont bruise anymore, they are as tough as granite. As are my jaws, and I have no gag reflex left.
Anyway, as for my FAVOR, I would like to ask you if you have a second or two, to please go visit my SISTER's brand spanking new blog found right here. She had started it a few months back, then moved and is now set to restart. It is called Keeper Worthy Recipes. She is my only sibling, and yeah, OK she is 3 years younger than I, and her name is Denise! So please ifyouwouldbesokind just stop and say hello. Thank you very much.
Tonight I have a quick weeknight dinner for you, courtesy of this cookbook
The word quickie brings many things to mind..Let's have a quickie.. Honey can I have a quick BJ? Sometimes asked raunchier than that too I suppose.. Dont deny it, they all do it.
Question .. do you find the culmination of the BJ tasty and flavorful?? It doesn't bother me at all UNLESS they have eaten loads of garlic..or an everything bagel..
do you women find garlic seeps through everything?? It has been my experience that it does. Lesson of the day.. loads of garlic before bJs is not a good idea. Almost gagworthy. I must say though, it Doesnt effect my swallow belief . One must be a trooper and carry through. Suck it up, literally and mentally, baby.
Even a few years back when I was on the Atkins diet to lose a few pounds ,
you know to fit into that special costume,
I didnt even worry about the carbs that may have been in the , um, explosion. Although I do wonder why that issue was never addressed. Really Mr Atkins, why did you not account for carb grams for us swallower girls? Goodness, merci me,how did I get here. I fly on tangents, I tell you.
Wanna have lunch? Me or You? Both? Do you all want to come?
Oh , one more piece of advice.. women dont be afraid to ask your man for a quickie twirl either. Even if you eat loads of garlic. We don't seep garlic from every pore imaginable like men. Remember women, Our spread is always delicious. Lighten Up, Dont get offended, dont run and hide. Come on and join my ride. Ok enough of my babble for the night.. onto my quickie recipe.
Chicken and Rice with Broccoli and Cheddar
Get some chicken breasts , pat them dry and season them with salt and pepper. Dredge them in flour. Heat some oil in a skillet and brown well on ONE side about 5 minutes

and remove to platter.

Add bit more oil to same skillet, heat to shimmering, add your onion and salt and cook until softened about 5 minutes.
Stir in your rice and garlic, cook until fragrant, bout 30 seconds.
Stir in your broth, scraping up any browned bits. Nestle the chicken into the rice browned side up.Cover and cook over med-low heat until chicken registers 160. Transfer chicken to plate. Off heat, fold in your broccoli, 1/2 cup chddar, and Tabasco sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with more cheddar, cover pot and let sit 2 minutes till cheese melts. Place chicken back in pot, and serve. This was very flavorful, had a teeny bit of a kick,

and came together so wonderfully.

Came together so wonderfully..

Came together so wonderfully..

Came together so wonderfully.

CAME. TOGETHER.SO.WONDERFULLY. Thinking NOT now of food are you??
