To begin I have Strawberry Walnut Bars. These delicious cookies have adorned my Christmas cookie trays for 15 years straight. Enough said. Something so simple, IS so delicious. Begin by getting some walnutsgrind them a bit
Cream your butter gradually, then add sugar creaming till light. Add egg yolks
blend well. Now add flour and nuts. Mix all together
Spoon half of your batter into a 9" greased square pan. Spread, pat with fingers, evenly. Top with strawberry jam
Spread evenly. Cover with remaining dough
That's all. Bake for an hour or until lightly golden brown like so
Cool completely. Cut into 2 inch bars
Look how yummy. These are truly wonderful. This is one of those ask for recipes
You know the recipes
that people
always ask for
Next up are Choco-Cherry Cookies. Lisaloo, this one's for you. You wanted a choc/cherry dessert for hubby, try this one. They are fantastic. No detail, here are some shots. Key Ingredient card below has all the info, aren't they looking lovely so far?
Save the cherry juice for the frosting
Ready to bake
Out of the oven
. Delicious. Bite into one
an explosion
of yumminess.

Your prolific posting is beyond impressive, but it is a little weird to not have any dirty talk.
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should supply some kind of innuendo about how as I type this, I'm looking at the link to my blog and I'm seeing a big sausage!
Those strawberry cookies look amazing. Ever sub out a different nut or jam? I'd have to sub out a different nut if I made them because I'm a tad allergic to walnuts (just a tingle in the mouth - no anaphalaxys).
I love the cherry ones too though. It's a nice surprise in the middle.
Pass me some of both, will ya? Looks delicious. A late morning snack or pre-lunch treat. Yum!!
