and set aside. Toss the rind and bone. While the ham is simmering, heat oil in large skillet. Add onions, celery, and carrotsSaute till vegetables are browned, about 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and add the butter, garlic, and sugar.

Tortellini Pasta Salad and Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies

Tortellini Salad in Herb-Garlic Dressing
Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies
Words are escaping me today. Thoughts aren't forming correctly in my brain. Maybe that's a good thing. I have much to say, but my head is cloudy and my knees are weak. You see I had these extremely potent peach martinis at the patio bar,, um um maybe too many, and am still in the recovery process.

What is it about drunk sex? Drunk sex is one of life's greatest pleasures. Inhibitions are loosened to the point of trying things unheard of in your sober life. I admit I had a few too many over the holiday weekend and ended up as a passenger(of course) in the car with my FFH(firefighter husband) with my panties on my face My God, I am one hot babe I was thinking to myself. I couldn't tell, yell, scream to him enough how delicious my panties were as I breathed in their heavenly essence. Proceeded of course to put them on my FFHs head as he drove, as he frantically tried to tear his zipper down.

Yes, at this point my eyes were seeing 2 johnsons not one to play games with..

I won't go into any further detail, as I don't want to shock sensitive ears, but let me tell you, he HAD to pull the car over, the panties did it, OK and maybe my skirt hiked up to my bra, and the hidden toys in the glove compartment,

and yes the bra was peek a boo, anyway, he HAD to pull that car over for a mindless act or 2. The type of mindless act that comes with one partner in the drunk sex mood, that would be me.
And it was a mind blowing unforgettable multiple hot experience that just wont ever be able to be repeated, but certainly wont ever be forgotten. I am still paying for my um, uninhibitedness..oh yes, my cyber friends, I am a sore chick, sore in all the right places.. More on drunk sex at another time, and there will be more... I'm getting hot and bothered all over again thinking bout it.

OK, onto my cooking issues..

This is a quick Tortellini Salad in Herb-Garlic Dressing. Very tasty, very simple.

I like to buy the tri-colored cheese tortellini because its pretty. So, cook your tortellini in some salted boiling water, until tender but firm. We have discussed the issue of firmness before, I am a lover of firm.

Drain your torts in cold water, and place in bowl in fridge to cool a bit. Make your dressing.. Beat your meat, I mean, red vinegar with oil till well-mixed, add your garlic, mustard, salt and pepper to taste. Pour over tortellini.

Stir. Throw on some freshly chopped basil and parsley.
Add some sliced scallions if you'd like for the crunch( I had to omit, my kids aren't fond of the raw scallion), toss gently. Top with some freshly grated parm cheeseand you re good to go Can serve in a bowl, or you can skewer a few with toothpicks and serve as an appy.
Very plain jane pasta salad, but so good,
and you can add anything you'd like, like olives, peppers, johnsons, kidding.
OK, Onto these wonderfully fantastic Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies. I saw these on Re Torte's Blog. I knew, just knew into the depths of my tortured soul, that I had to make these immediately. And I did. Have you met Wandering Coyote? Her blog is full of all things good. Check out her morning glory muffins, her spicy molasses cookies, all her breads, absolutely lovely blog and fantastic lady! you will adore her if you dont already. Thanks for this recipe WC, we all loved it!!

Begin by getting about 8 Oreos and break up into pieces. Set aside.

Preheat your oven to 350. Cream your butter and sugars until well combined. Add your egg and vanilla and mix well. Place your flour, baking soda, and salt into a large bowl, stir to combine. Slowly add the dry to the wet, wet to the dry, what is the difference any one know, anyone?

Stir gently. Now stir in the goodness,

the broken oreos and the chocolate chips.
Just till combined, sweetheart, may I call you sweetheart? I'm in love with you. Now with a medium scooper, scoop onto parchment or silpat
and bake 7-8 minutes. Cool for 3 minutes on sheet
before transferring them
to rack.
Enjoy,
these are delish,
declared a keeper both

By the Kids and by the FFH!

Thanks again, WC for a fantastic cookie!

Unstuffed Mushroom Side Dish and Brownies for a Crowd and Awards

Unstuffed Mushroom Side Dish Brownies For a Crowd

OK, so I joined the church ladies to discuss a fundraiser cookbook for the church. I wore no underwear under my miniskirt, but that's neither here nor there. I happened upon 2 of my friends chatting and one was rather upset.

You see, she had caught her husband playing with UMM, HIS own organ,
and she took offense to this. I giggled to myself and tried to be supportive, but had to just blurt out, Why didn't you just join in? Me and my big mouth. And Yes, my FFH is glad I have a wide open mouth.

MY LORD! You'd have thought the man had an affair, he was just whacking the johnson. Had it have been me, I proceeded to tell her, as she shot daggers through my chest, I would have done 1 of 3 things.

1. I would have watched.

2. I would have played my ownwhile he played his own and had a freaking symphony in harmony.

Get my Drift there swift?

3. I would have knelt down and took his own matter into my hand or mouth and finished up for him.. I mean what is the big deal.

I believe playing ones own instruments or anothers instruments is like eating food. We do it because it brings us enjoyment. You crave food, you crave orgasmsnothing wrong with that..

Really watch him play his own organ, learn from him, then you can master it better. HHAHAHAHA I just made myself laugh. Master it better. master it better. master it better. Say that fast, sounds like masterbater. Funny funny funny.

Oh my.. I have to hurry up with this post, I am meeting my FFH for a clandestine meeting at a patio bar,

yes, yes we are playing the don't know you routine, and yes, I am not wearing panties underneath my sundress either. Dontcha love the feeling of no panties, or barely panties, sundress, wind ripping up from underneath..
I know I do! WOO HOO!!

These 2 dishes are dishes I am usually requested to bring to an event. My unstuffed mushroom side dish is asked for even for BBQs. My girlfriend was grilling turkey london broil and thought this would pair well, so I made them and I also made Brownies for a Crowd.

Lets begin with the Unstuffed Mushroom Side Dish! Get some mushrooms, slice them up a bit on the thick side,

bring some salted water to a boil, throw your shrooms in for 2 minutes. Drain with cold water. Place some olive oil in a baking dish, spread to cover bottom nice and thin. Place your mushrooms on top.
Get your fresh garlic and fresh parsley and mince it up nicely.
I use my handy dandy vibrator, I mean food chopper. Add some breadcrumbs, I use progresso Italian Style, but you can use fresh if you'd like, I'm all about the convenience today though baby! Again add your breadcrumbs, minced garlic, minced parsley, some oregano, salt and pepper on top of mushrooms.
Put a bit more Olive Oil on that! Mix it all togetherTop with a coating of breadcrumbs, and dot with a bit more olive oil.
Bake at 350 for bout 40 minutes. Mix. Serve. It is wonderful.
Simple side dish but so very tasty. I make these at Thanksgiving also. You can add parm cheese, freshly grated if you choose, I choose not to. I like them this way, and I'm sticking to it!
These brownies for a crowd are from the Foster's Market Cookbook. It is the brownie recipe I turn to when I have to make many. They are rich and delicious. Can make with or without nuts. I obviously add nuts. I love nuts, all kinds types, shapes, sizes of nuts. Hairy or not, don't bother me none.

OK Brownies.. Preheat your oven to 325. Grease and flour your 17 x 2 x 1 inch pan. Sift together your cocoa, flour, and salt together in a bowl and set aside.

Cream together eggs,
butter, yes, 1 pound, melt it,
sugar, and vanilla
in a separate bowl with an electric mixer until well blended. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Do NOT overmix, my loved ones.
Fold in your walnuts(toast them first if you like) and your chocolate chips and stir to blend.
Spread that gorgeous batter
evenly into your pan.
Bake for 35 - 40 minutes till brownies are firm to the touchLove things
that are firm to the touch, oh yes, I do.
They will be slightly soft in the center when tested with a toothpick. remove from oven and cool for 30-40 minutes before cutting these bites of bliss.
Cut the size you like.
They are fantastic brownies for a crowd.
I was awarded 2 awards from Jenn from Bread plus Butter. I LOVE Jenn, she is like the epitome of cool. Check her blog out if you haven't yet. She has wonderful wonderful food, and her writing style is incredible. I feel honored she thought enough of me to pass these along to me. She bestowed me with both thisand this.
