Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.. remember? I'm going be really busy(guests, a wedding, more guests) for the next 2 weeks so,no bells or whistles, no bjs, no hot dudes, no nothing related to orgasms. Just food, food I loved so much on YOUR blog, I hadda try. Keep in mind I am not posting the way I normally do as I am linking to the blogger that seduced me into the recipe. I did, however, use the key ingredient card on the bottom for all if you want to print the recipe.. OK, gotta problem with that? Bite me. I love to say Bite me. No one ever replies where.. I dont get it.

Let us begin with Ashley. Big Flavors From a Tiny Kitchen. I chose to make her Maple-Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloins, Cooking Light, found here. Ashleys post found here. Ashley is like the hidden gem! Her cooking to me is wonderful. Her blog is loaded with delcious food. Her rating system is honest, as she rates from 1 to 5 stars. I have trusted her blog since Ive begun blogging and she always deliversLove her! This is a delicious weeknight dish. The sweet-tart sauce is incredible and the pork so tender, it is a dish Id make over and over again! Thanks Ashley. From her blog also, I chose to make Banana Coffee Cake. I love all things banana and male, and when she raved about this, I had to make it. A delicious little coffeecake from Bon Apetit found hereThis can be assembled in mere minutes , lovely flavorings and nice and moist.I loved it with my coffee and the firefighters enjoyed this one too! How can you go wrong with bananas, chocolate, cinammon, and walnuts? Huh, HOW! Thanks again Ashley!

Now Miss Pam of For the Love of Cooking,

I can not say enough about how delicious her blog is, its addiciting, each day one dish looks better than the previous! I chose to make her White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies. Her post here.
I had been searching like forever for a good recipe for these and knew they would be a winner when she said they were.
Then Cathy from Noble Pig raved about them also. HOW could I not try them!
They were delicious, so tasty, baked up quickly.
This is now my go to white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.
Thank you Pam!!

And speaking of Cathy at Noble Pig, she is the ultimate! I have many things of hers in my book listed to try, and here is one. A Grilled London Broil with a Sesame Soy Brown Sugar Marinade. What a fantastic marinade.

I loved it. The taste was reminiscent, to me, of Chinese Spare ribs, meat so tender.
Her blog has beautiful, beautiful pictures and dont miss her Davis magazine posts, incredible.
I need to try the surf and turf soon, and the applesauce chocolate chip cake, and I could so go on.
Thanks Cathy!

Last blog I chose, for today, for this post is Molly Jeans of The Rookie Chef. Check her out now, she has homemade tootsie rolls up there for crissakes. Anyway, She made these adorable Ice cream cone cupcakes,

and knew immediately I had to Had to make them for my kiddos.
Her original recipe found here.
My kids, the neighbors kids gobbled them down like pancakes.
Molly has a darling blog, pay her a visit if you haven't.
You will love it!
Thanks Molly!

Peasant Pasta and Chocolate Sheet Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting

Chocolate Sheet Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting Peasant Pasta
I have nothing for you today. Nadazipzilchbangyourheadagainstthewallnothing. I have myself an aching shoulder and now a painful neck, so I am posting my weekly quickie dinner, quickie dessert and then I am on my way to the land of the ZZZZs, Percocet take me away, screw Calgon.

Let me just let ya know...There are only so many ways a wife can twist her neck while doing the oral, and combining that while doing an upside down crawl is not safe. Do not try that at home. Being the injured party for a bit, I am on the receiving end of all the goodies, yay for one ways, ifyaknowhatimean, and let me tell ya, combine that with percocet and its a holly jolly Christmas.

This quickie meal of the week is courtesy of Rachael Ray, friend of mine. Yeah, me, her, and Tyler go way back. Think threesome and beers.. Kidding. Oh gasp to you too. Terrific meal, one dish, perfect for weeknight and quite tasty. Peasant pasta, original recipe here. So to begin, get your sausage

and remove the casings, how fun. Get your pasta water going too. Heat some olive oil in a pan. Add your hot and sweet sausage crumbles, and begin to brown it. Throw in some chopped garlic.
When the sausage has all been browned evenly, deglaze the pan with some chicken broth. Stir in your crushed tomatoessimmer a bit. Now, stir in your heavy creamto blush, add your salt, pepper, basil, and frozen peas. I get my basil from my potted plant, I call him Eli. I usually have it in the garden but due to my recent move,I have to wait till next year for that luxury, boohoo. Stir till combined then toss with your cooked aldente penne rigate. Look at this yummy pasta.
Such a nice flavor and it comes together so easily.
Truly yummy, and leftovers keep well, kept separate from pasta, of course.
Top it off with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. For my quickie weeknight dessert, I needed something to please my children tonight and the firemen fighters of flames tomorrow. I chose a cake combination chocolate/peanut butter, whats not to love? Yes, this one starts with a cake mix.. I said weekday dessert, my weekend dessert was a from scratch one. Why am I explaining myself to you anyway? Not my problem if you dont enjoy the helping hand of cake mixes. Don't knock it till you try it, just like swallowing for your man. OK gather your ingredients, oh here they are.
Place them all in the bowl and mix with an electric mixer. Pour into a 9x13 greased baking pan.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or so till done. Look what happened to mine.
It has crack, you do remember our friend Crack don't you??
To read more about Crack read here. While cake is cooling make your peanut butter frosting. Mix together your peanut butter and butter
till creamy. Then add your confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla. Adjust milk as needed for consistency. When your frosting is ready and oh so delicious, frost your gorgeous cake right in the pan. Look how gorgeous this is. Look at the thickness of the frosting, the moistness of the cake.
Christ, thickness, moistness, thickness, moistness.. what the hell. This cake received some rave reviews from my FFHs co-workers, and a recipe request also.. Last chance to enter my giveaway for a $25.00 Amazon Gift Certificate. Chance ends Tuesday, 8 PM. Enter Here. I'll be back with a winner with my week long imitation posts. If you don't know what they are see here and here.
