Thick and Chewy Chocolate Chip Bars, Peanut Blossoms,Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookies, and our favorite meatloaf!

Thick and Chewy Chocolate Chip Bars
Peanut Blossoms
Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
Favorite Meatloaf Here are a few cookies I've recently made, along with our favorite meatloaf. Been busy settling into our new home, some of our new neighbors are ducks and geese. Literally ducks and geese. They've already been eating out of our hands, quack quack!

I'll begin with these Thick and Chewy Chocolate Chip Bars. I saw them originally on My Kitchen Cafe. Originally from Cook's Illustrated! What I love about this recipe is that you do not have to soften the butter, You melt it..

You then add it to your sugars(both brown and white)Mix , then add in your egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Stir in your already sifted flour, baking soda and salt. Add the chips,
Roll them out in your pan,
Preheat to 325 and bake for 24-28 minutes. Quickly, my kids and the neighbors kids made friends by sharing these delights. It's a keeper!!Another cookie that needs no explanation is the peanut blossom. Again brownie points with the neighborhood children. Recipe below on key ingredient card. Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Cookies, seen here at Anissa's Kitchen, became another favorite of the little hoodlums I am living by now. I mean.. how can you not like these cookies when the add ins are these??Just look how delightful.Definitely a got milk? cookie.Want one? Make your own, recipe below, babe.Everyone has their own favorite meatloaf recipe and this is mine. Simple to make, everyday ingredients, nothing extravagant, pure comfort meal.

Start by gathering your goods, make sure to use meatloaf mix(pork, veal, meat)Mix them all together in a bowl. Do not over mix, stop as soon as the mixture pulls from the bowl.Shape into a loaf and squirt a bunch of ketchup on top.Rub it all over the meat. Saying that makes me horny.Bake as per directions on my key ingredient card, and lookie..Look

Look..it's soooo good.. served with mashed potatoes, of course..
Moist, and very flavorful.
Remember my Top Heavy Crumb Cake, Ive blogged about here?? Well, I make this all the time, so I just thought I'd photo it again.. Hope you had a Happy Cinco de Mayo..

  1. Are you sure you couldn't have moved in next door to me? Because that would be convenient.

I hate waiting for butter to soften, also. Who has time to think that far ahead!

I'm loving all of the peanut butter in this post!
