Coffee Rubbed Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Espresso Grilling Sauce

Coffee Rubbed Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Espresso Grilling SauceOh My! So flavorful. Pork tenderloin is one of our favorites for grilling in the summer. This one, which I originally found on Judy's Kitchen, will be added to the grilling rotation every year. Simple to prepare, easy to make, and I bet you have all the ingredients on hand!

Begin by making a rub out of these 4 ingredients, sea salt or kosher, ground black pepper, ground coffee beans, and coriander seed. I did as Judy and used ground coriander and moist coffee grinds. Rub onto the pork tenderloin and let sit at room temp for an hour. Meanwhile , prepare your grilling sauce( which can be made ahead and refrigerated by the way) You will need these items: ketchup, honey, an orange or lemon, brewed coffee, mustard,(ooppss.. forgot the mustard in my photo), hot pepper sauce, ground black pepper, and coarse salt. Combine all ingredients in sauce pan and bring to boil over medium heat. Lower and simmer 5 minutes till thickened.Makes about 2 1/3 cups. Can store this for up to one month covered in fridge. Grill pork as directed on my key ingredient recipe card below. Basting as it says. Let rest covered 10 minutes to redistribute the juices, slice, and serve. You can serve with more sauce if desired. So delicious. Has a nice kick. Very moist, great flavor!
