Grilled Pierogies and Kielbasa
As soon as I saw this in Food Network magazine, I knew we would be trying it. Hubby and I have much Polish in us and we are huge fans of pierogies and kielbasa. Granted, these aren't my homemade pierogies, you can find those here, and this isn't true Polish sausage, ifyaknowhatImean, it's Hillshire Farm, however, it still makes for a delightful summertime meal!!
Gather up your dressing ingredients, cut your kielbasa into 4 pieces, and cut your onion into 6 wedges.
Grill your kielbasa first , till marked to your liking.
Grab your frozen pierogies,
toss them, along with the onions, in some olive oil. Grill per directions on key ingredient card below.
In the meantime prepare the dressing, and slice the kielbasa. Toss sliced kielbasa in dressing, and pierogies, chopped onions, and parsley,
to prepared dressing.
Toss gently.
Serve. Very tasty,
very flavorful.
This will remain on our grilling rotation.

I'm with you. As soon as I saw this recipe I knew I had to make it. This is probably one of my favorite dinners. Looks perfect!

This sounds delish Donna! I keep forgetting that they have frozen pierogies so I need to look for them. Pairing that with the sausage is a yummy idea.

ReplyDeleteI've made kielbasa with pierogies so many times and love it, but I've never grilled them before. The dressing sounds delicious too. I usually just end up frying them in olive oil. I am going to definitely try this. Thanks Donna!
