Vanilla Rich Chocolate Chip Cookies
When I saw this advertisement
in one of my monthly magazines,
oohhlalala, I knew I would be making these cookies. The idea of the vanilla rich intrigued me, so off to the kitchen I pranced. Its your basic chocolate chip recipe, with extra vanilla, 4 teaspoons that is.

Begin by mixing your dry ingredients in a bowl and setting aside. Beat your butter and sugars in an electric mixer. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Mix all together. Stir in your chocolate chips. Portion out onto cookie sheets. I used a 2 tablespoon scoop, as I wanted bigger cookies.
Bake in a preheated 375 oven for 8-10 minutes.
Cool on rack 1 minute. Remove.
Admire.
Decide which one to try.
Eat. Enjoy. Crisp edges, chewy center.
More than a hint of vanilla.
Scrumptious!

SOunds yummy...Just got some new fancy vanilla, will get some chips and try them...Happy Birthday xoxox0

ReplyDeleteOh this post did make me giggle :) 4tsp vanilla? vanilla rich for sure! I am definitely one of those people that always lets the vanilla overflow the teaspoon a little so these sound right up my street, and yours look so pretty too! Great recipe :)

ReplyDeleteOh yes, I can see myself eating at least a dozen of these babies. They look soooo good!
ReplyDeleteI want to make cookies today and I'm torn between this recipe and your oatmeal carmilita bars. I know we would love either one. The caramel in the bars is really calling me. What to choose...what to choose.
ReplyDeleteDelicious! I love a nice, vanilla-rich cookie!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or does that guy look like a young Chuck Woolery?

ReplyDeleteSam
I try every chocolate chip cookie, I find. This one says "Make me in a double recipe." It is 2 in the morning and I am off to make chocolate chip cookies. So what if I don't sleep. I will get my sugar fix.
ReplyDeleteI checked your blog and then immediately baked these. Terrific cookies.
